Arrest warrants have been issued for Chrisley Knows Best stars Todd and Julie Chrisley. The order comes one day after both were indicted on federal charges including tax evasion, bank fraud and wire fraud.
The Blast is one of several media outlets reporting that U.S. Marshals have been directed to arrest the couple, who live in Nashville. On Tuesday (Aug. 13), news of the 12-count charges became public, something the family tried to prepare their fans for on Instagram. Todd, Julie and company deny all charges, claiming a disgruntled former employee has falsified the documents that implicate them.
“I’m telling you all this now because we have nothing to hide and have done nothing to be ashamed of,” the Instagram statement reads. “Not only do we know we’ve done nothing wrong, but we’ve got a ton of hard evidence and a bunch of corroborating witnesses that proves it.”
